Finance Manager

We are a furniture manufacturing company based in Dubai, looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyse everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on cost management and future financial plans.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial reports on a monthly basis.
  • Advise on manufacturing activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
  • Manage Furniture Factory cost efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • To ensure that appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Job Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager.
  • Experience in cost accounting in the manufacturing sector.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in implementing ERP financial solutions and internal control procedures.
  • MS Office, any ERP.
  • Innovation, Communication, Growth Mindset, Leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications such as CMA, ICMA, ACCA, CA, CFA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the accounting/finance field, preferably in manufacturing, furniture or fit-out environment.
  • Worked as a cost accountant for 2 to 4 years in the manufacturing sector.
  • UAE Driving License.
