Located in his villa in Sharjah, UAE, this majlis interior design emphasizes generosity, a core Arab value, creating an elegant space for gatherings, discussions, and hospitality.
Inspired by Islamic principles of balance and intricate detail, this majlis features furniture rich in geometric patterns and crafted from luxurious, sustainable materials. Architectural elements such as arches and carved woodwork complement the design, while carefully selected lighting and vibrant colors enhance the opulent yet welcoming ambiance. Our custom majlis seating designs focus on quality and elaborate decoration, ensuring comfort without compromising style.
The project presented two key challenges:
At BOLD Bespoke Design, “impossible” is not in our vocabulary. We designed a functional and stylish U-shaped majlis table and arranged majlis seating to comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests, blending innovation with tradition.
The majlis sofa set features creamy white upholstery that harmonizes with the wall cladding, symbolizing purity and cleanliness. Accent cushions in gold representing wisdom and blue symbolizing heaven and water, add cultural depth and vibrant contrast. The sofa armrests showcase exquisite CNC-cut wooden designs, some painted in gold to highlight Islamic artistry.
Our majlis tables include both square and round shapes, crafted with contrasting light and dark woods in intricate geometric inlays. The tables’ white-painted legs and carved side panels, featuring traditional perforated designs, evoke classic Islamic architectural motifs.
The dining space features a stunning elongated U-shaped table with a glossy finish and detailed gold accents, exuding luxury. Paired with blue velvet high-back chairs adorned with gold and light wood finishes, the dining area perfectly complements the majlis interiors while offering maximum comfort and style.
